Beyond Zoochosis Course Launch

Wow. I love this little 40 second video made by the amazing design team at the Kerulos Learning Institute, and I hope you do too. I first started learning about the impacts of captivity while doing my masters research. My thesis advisor at the time was not in favor of my ideas and I ended up shelving them for a few more years. I walked away feeling confused yet determined. How could this thing that I saw so clearly be invisible to others in my field?

Well I’ve go to tell you, it feels so good to have launched this course in partnership with the Kerulos Learning Institute. After 13 years refining the theory that identifies the symptoms of captivity, its causes, and the practices that heal them across different species including human animals. This course was so much fun to teach and I can’t wait for the next round starting this fall! Just a little reminder that the gate keepers only show up when we are on the track to something truly special. —VW
